Grand Union Designs
With an impressive portfolio showing a stunning array of bespoke kitchens, the work from Grand Union Designs speaks for itself.
Its handcrafted kitchens, along with bedroom, office and bathroom furniture, epitomises quality craftsmanship.
These expert cabinet makers create everything they design by hand from scratch – giving you a truly unique product and making your ideas become a reality.
Whether it’s a traditional or contemporary look you are after, Grand Union Designs is the right choice to make it happen.
Co-owner Phil Watts says: “I think it is massively important you get a customer’s input but then we will start to chuck ideas at them. We get the outline and then add all the details.
“I don’t think there is good or bad taste – just different tastes. We try to get a feel for a customer’s taste as we are creating it for them.
“We give advice to people on their design and on their ideas but we accept we are building for an individual. Everyone’s very different but hopefully they are getting what they want. The end result should be special.”
And special really does sum up what you get from this company.
Grand Union Designs launched in 2005 but Phil has 40 years experience in the trade – something which you can see in his designs and attention to detail.
As well as computer generated preview images of your chosen design you will also get scaled hand drawings of each piece of furniture – broken down cupboard by cupboard.
Once your chosen piece has been made it is set up in the factory so the customer can see what it looks like before it is installed.
In fact the whole Grand Union Designs team really are experts in their field – whether it’s making the cabinets or installing the product.
Most of its work comes through recommendations and with a bursting back catalogue of happy customers it’s hardly a surprise.
This passionate team are completely committed to giving you a quality product you will cherish.
And if you like to keep with the current trends, Phil says most of its counters are in granite or quartz while kitchens in various shades of grey are still extremely popular – particularly pairing a very light shade with a much darker one – but he predicts sage green or even deep blue could become one of the next hot colours for cabinets so watch this space.
With its busy workshop already in Daventry the company is now bringing a fantastic new showroom to the town. When the space is completed it will be a true showstopper highlighting how Grand Union Designs is a safe bet if you want to give your home the wow factor.
