Save our library…

You may well be aware that Council cuts are resulting in the forced closure of 21 libraries across Northants, one of which is sadly Moulton.
Despite the uncertainty as to whether our local library can be kept open in some form as an independent library, the Friends of Moulton Library group want to keep providing community and literary activities and events for all ages – so on Saturday 27th October 2018 we are inviting children’s, young adult, and adult authors to Moulton; aside from interactive seminars and talks from national authors, we will be providing games, activities, bookstalls and craft events to create a literary festival for the whole community. Our full brochure will be available from September, and pick up one of our free save-the-date bookmarks available around Northants.

Get Involved

In the lead-up to this fantastic event we will be holding poetry and short story competitions, and on the day there are fancy dress competitions, and plenty of family friendly workshops to sign up for, not to mention literary stalls to buy bespoke merchandise, books from the authors and don’t forget to get your book signed by the author themselves! If you would like to be a volunteer on the day to help our inaugural literary festival run smoothly, please do get in touch via social media or pop in to the library and we will find a job for you! In the meantime, to keep up to date with all the latest news on authors and events:
